Rhinestones are a girl's best friend

We listened to Chuck Palaniuk's Diary on the way down to San Diego. The narrator and main character, Misty, has a fascination with old antique brooches and rhinestone jewelry - the product of her poor upbringing in a mobile home park in Tecumseh, Georgia. I am minimal when it comes to wearing jewelry (at the moment a simple pendant and my engagement ring), but I adore looking at pretty, sparkly jewelry and will accessorize appropriately for events. I still have the Austrian white cut crystal choker I wore to my high school prom.
